The Artist

Samantha Erler, illustrator and founder of Sam Louise & Co., is a creative visionary in the fashion and art industries. With a BFA in fashion design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Sam refined her skills and developed a keen eye for the intersection of art and fashion. After gaining invaluable industry experience, she left her traditional fashion design role in 2020 to pursue a career in fashion illustration.

Blending design expertise and artistic talent, Sam launched Sam Louise, a fashion illustration brand. In 2021, it became Sam Louise & Co.—an e-commerce boutique now offering accessories, home decor, and gifts with fashion illustrations, bridal art, floral prints, and more. Though no longer just a fashion illustrator, Sam’s feminine use of color and contrast remains central, with her hand-drawn designs at the core of Sam Louise & Co.

The Art Process

Sam demonstrates a diverse approach in her creative process. With a preference for artist pens and professional markers, she employs bold strokes and vibrant colors to hand-illustrate her works. Additionally, Sam seamlessly incorporates digital tools, allowing her to enhance and refine the finer details while staying true to the authentic, handcrafted essence of her art.
